Thank you for considering a gift to Mid-South Paralyzed Veterans of America. Your generosity can help improve the lives of all disabled people in need, and help us deliver measurable results in our community. Your gift will enable us to drive programs and lead initiatives that create real and powerful change.

Paralyzed Veterans of America accepts your new or gently used items — like clothing, appliances and furniture — and sells them in our well-known PVA operated Thrift stores. There are three donation locations in the Mid-South Service area.

Federal law permits donors to claim tax deductions for many financial contributions and for donated clothing and household goods in good, used condition or better.

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies for a tax deduction, then consider this: if you would give it to a relative or friend, then the item is most likely in good condition and is appropriate to donate.

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service requires donors to value their items.

At Mid-South PVA, we want people to give as much thought to where they donate their clothes as they would to where they donate their money. Donors should give to charities they know and trust and that will make the most of their donations.

Mid-South Paralyzed Veterans of America is accepting your new or gently used DVD and BLUE RAY Movies — Occasionally there are patients that spend months at a time on the SCI unit. The movies will be placed where patients of the unit will be able to check them out and watch them in the New Media Room. G-Rated movies are also accepted to allow patients with young children an entertainment outlet while the parents have time to communicate.

Paralyzed Veterans of America operates a storage facility that will accommodate all your needs. The facility has several sizes of locker available and can also accommodate RV’s, Boats, cars and trailers.
